Come to the Table is what happens when a simple, ordinary wife, mother, and Grammy says yes to God by doing something completely out of her comfort zone. Cafe Connections and this book are a direct response to God's call of faith to step out and pursue a dream of reaching people with the Gospel in an unexpected way - with food.
While the book could have aptly been titled Recipes from a Reluctant Baker, the heart of our mission, to share Christ with others, starts by opening the door, and inviting all to Come to the Table. Now with more than ten years of baking experience, some flops, some surprises, and many successful desserts later, Mrs. Ann regularly serves approximately 75 slices of desserts and 20 pots of coffee per week. The once reluctant baker's obedience to a call has changed the lives of many through a free cup of coffee and dessert and, while doing so, pointing people to the Father.
More than a delicious array of recipes, Come to the Table will inspire you to say yes to whatever God may be calling you to do - even if it's outside of your comfort zone.
