My husband ate half of this straight off the counter before dinner was even ready. No shame. Would you be able to wait or are you eating this warm too?
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 box instant vanilla pudding (3.4 oz)
- 4 eggs
- 3/4 cup vegetable oil
- ¾ cup water
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons cinnamon
Preheat your oven to 325°F. Grease and flour a bundt pan really well-don't skip this or you'll cry later.
In a bowl, mix the sugar and cinnamon together. Set aside.
In a large bowl, combine cake mix, pudding mix, eggs, oil, and water. Beat until smooth and creamy.
Pour half the batter into the bundt pan.
Sprinkle half the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the batter.
Pour the remaining batter on top, then sprinkle the rest of the cinnamon-sugar over everything.
Use a butter knife to gently swirl the cinnamon-sugar through the batter—just a few swirls, don't overmix.
Bake for 50-60 minutes, until a toothpick comes out mostly clean and the top is deeply golden.
Let it cool in the pan for about 15 minutes, then flip it onto a plate while it's still warm so that cinnamon crust stays perfect.
