We are Ann and Steve Corbin, residents of Pickens, South Carolina. For 18 years we served as North American Mission Board Volunteer Missionaries with the Southern Baptist Convention. In March of 2011, we started Get Up & Go Ministries, a non profit 501 (c)(3).
We exist to help those within the body of Christ to realize that they are a viable and important part of God's plan to reach the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, using their God given spiritual gifts as an effective means of communicating the Gospel.
Cafe Connections, is our local outreach of Get Up & Go Ministries. Cafe Connections seeks to demonstrate the love of Christ through simple acts of kindness and hospitality to all people, locally, nationally and internationally.

Who We Are
Cafe Connections is a mobile ministry serving Pickens and surrounding communities.
While we no longer have a physical building, the ministry never stopped.
We go where God leads—partnering with local ministries, encouraging people, and meeting practical needs along the way.
What We're Doing
- Provide meals, encouragement, & Jesus’ love to Behavioral Health clients
- Continuing jail ministry at Pickens County Detention Center
- Support & partner w/ local ministries
- Encourage shopkeepers on Main Street
- Host pop-up events
- Provide meals & encouragement to individuals & families in need
- Obediently following God for next steps
